How do I make my website show a map of my location?

The standard route: Google Maps' free embed. Find your business on Maps, Share → Embed a map, paste the snippet into your contact page. Every builder (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix) also has a native map block that does this with a search box.

For service-area businesses without a public address, embed a map of your COVERAGE area instead (Maps lets you share a region view), or skip the map for a plain-language service list. 'serving Franklin, Meridian, and 20 minutes around' communicates faster than cartography.

Small technical note: heavy map embeds can slow a page; lazy-load them (most builders do automatically) and keep them on the contact page rather than every page.

This is the work. Want it done?

Everything here is free to use yourself. That’s the point. If you’d rather a senior marketer just handle it, in your accounts and your name: 20-minute call, no pitch deck.
