Privacy Policy
Effective July 30, 2026 · Written in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
Contact form submissions: name, email, and any phone number, company name, service interest, or message you choose to provide. This is information you actively send us so we can respond.
Client portal accounts: name, email, and login activity for clients we've issued accounts to.
Client portal content: when a firm and its clients use their portal, we store what they put in it — uploaded documents, messages, document requests, and e-signature records (which include the signer's IP address and browser identifier as part of the legal audit trail). We use this content only to provide the portal service to that firm — never for marketing, profiling, or anything else.
Demo requests and leads: firm name, contact details, and — when you arrive from one of our ads — the ad-click identifier and campaign tags (gclid/UTM), used solely to measure our own marketing.
Measurement cookies — with a one-click opt-out: we use Google Analytics (with IP anonymization) to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion measurement to know whether one of our own ads brought you here. That's the entire purpose — measurement of our own marketing. You can opt out with one click in the banner or anytime via 'Cookie Preferences' in the footer, and if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal we opt you out automatically before anything loads.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with third parties for their marketing. We don't use ad personalization or cross-site behavioral advertising — the only ad-related measurement we do, with your consent, is counting whether our own Google ads led to a visit or inquiry.
How we use your information
To respond to your inquiry (that's the entire point of the contact form), to provide portal access to clients, to send communications you've asked for, and — with consent — to understand aggregate site usage so we can improve it.
Cookies & your choices
Essential functionality (like portal login sessions, stored in your browser's local storage) doesn't require consent because it exists solely to do what you asked.
The specific cookies we set: _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics, distinguish visitors, up to 2 years) and Google Ads conversion cookies (_gcl_* — connect an ad click to a form submission, typically 90 days). That's the complete list; nothing else is set, and ad personalization is permanently disabled in our configuration.
How consent works here (US notice-and-opt-out): measurement runs by default with a clear notice, and opting out takes one click — in the banner, or anytime via 'Cookie Preferences' in the footer. Opting out is honored immediately and permanently (it never quietly expires back into tracking), and it deletes Google cookies from your browser on the spot.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a binding opt-out: if your browser sends it, we opt you out automatically before anything loads — no clicking required — and the banner confirms we did.
Verifiable consent records: every choice — your opt-in, your opt-out, and every automatic GPC opt-out — is logged server-side with a random record ID (shown to you in the banner), the choice, the policy version, the date and time, and your browser's user-agent string. No name, email, or IP address is stored in this log. Want your record or want it deleted? Email us with your record ID.
Where your data lives
Form submissions and portal records are stored in our backend (Xano) on servers in the United States. Uploaded portal documents are stored in Vercel's private file storage (built on Amazon S3, US region), served only through expiring signed links. The site is hosted on Vercel; transactional email is delivered by Resend and payments are processed by Stripe — the full list of providers, with their security attestations, is on our Security page.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email eric@quidortmarketing.com and we'll handle it promptly — no forms, no runaround. Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), these may also be legal rights, and we honor them regardless of geography.
