Custom Portals & Apps
Dashboards & platforms you own outright.
Why it matters
Some problems can't be solved with off-the-shelf software: a client dashboard that shows exactly what your customers need, an internal platform that matches how your team actually works, a data tool that turns thousands of records into decisions. I build those — and you own the code outright.
Proof, not promises: the Client Login on this very site is a live custom portal — real authentication, role-based access, live data, activity logging. I've also built an employee portal that later shipped to the App Store as a native app on the same backend, and a BD intelligence platform that distills thousands of projects into who-to-call decisions and generates client-ready presentations on demand. That intelligence platform is the same system behind the 200:1 cold-email result on the Results page — the portals I build don't just display data, they drive revenue decisions.
Who this is for
- Businesses gluing together spreadsheets that should be one system
- Firms whose clients keep asking for a login, a report, a portal
- Operators with valuable data and no way to act on it
- Companies whose workforce doesn't sit at a desk — onboarding, documents, and schedules that live on every employee's phone

Common questions
What does 'you own the code' actually mean?+
The repository, the hosting accounts, the database, and the domain are all in your name. If we part ways, you hand the keys to any competent developer and nothing breaks. It's the same guarantee as everything else I build.
Can I see an example?+
You're on one. Click Client Login in the navigation — that's a live portal with real authentication and live data, built on the same stack client projects ship with.
What happens after launch?+
Your choice: hand it to your team (docs and training included), or keep me on for ongoing development at a monthly rate scoped to your roadmap. Plenty of clients do the first and come back for phase two later.
Why is this so much cheaper than a dev agency quote?+
No account managers, no discovery-phase theater, no team of five billing hours. One senior builder using a modern stack, scoping honestly, and shipping. The $10K–$25K range covers most real portal needs; if yours is genuinely bigger, I'll tell you before we start.
Why buy instead of subscribing to off-the-shelf software?+
Run the math. A 50-person company renting an HR or ops platform pays roughly $6–12K per year, every year, forever — per-seat pricing that punishes growth, and you own nothing when you leave. For about two years of that rent, you own yours outright: branded, built around how you actually work, no seat fees, ever. If an off-the-shelf tool genuinely fits you, I'll say so in the audit — buying custom only wins when the fit or the math says it does.
